New Points Test for Skilled Visa


Australian migration system has changed, once again.

Now we have two new visa subclasses, 491 and 494 and a new point testing system.

Today, we are talking about the changes in the new points test. Now you will gain more points if your spouse is skill assessed with competent English or you are single or you have an Australian citizen or permanent resident spouse.

Besides that, the old point system with studying in regional Australia, having credential community language and with a qualification in STEM stays the same.

So, if you think that you can score higher points with the new system, you should lodge an EOI to increase your chance to get an invitation to apply for a visa.
